Council determined that this Life Insurance Agent pay a fine in the amount of
$1,000.00 and costs of $1,000.00 for contravention of Section 378(13) of The
Insurance Act of Manitoba relating to replacing policies of his former
sponsor within one year of termination of sponsorship. Matter appealed to
Insurance Agents' and Adjusters' Licensing Appeal Board who upheld fine and
costs, and assessed additional costs in the amount of $1,000.00.
