Laurie Ann Rideout was charged with failing to discharge her duties to clients, members of the public, fellow members and insurers with integrity, failing to service the member’s clients in a conscientious, diligent and efficient manner, as well as charged with being candid and honest when advising the member’s clients, as a result of Ms. Rideout not placing insurance for various clients and neglected to submit the applications through the brokerage or to submit the client’s request for coverage to the respective insurers, as well as not making necessary changes to policies as requested by the clients, sometimes leaving the clients without insurance when they thought they were insured.
DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE’S DISPOSITION:
The Discipline Committee approved a consent agreement between Laurie Ann Rideout and RIBO, and ordered:
(a) That the Certificate of Registration of Laurie Ann Rideout be revoked effective immediately.
