PARTICULARS OF THE COMPLAINT:
As a result of an allegation made by RIBO, it appears that Mr. Todd Armstrong may have failed to discharge his duties to member’s clients with integrity as a result of failure to submit applications for insurance to insurers and providing insurance confirmation to member’s clients when no coverage was in effect.
DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE’S DISPOSITION:
The Discipline Committee found that there was sufficient evidence in support of the plea of guilty by Mr. Todd Armstrong to the allegations contained in the Direction and found that Mr. Armstrong is guilty of misconduct as alleged therein. The Discipline Committee ordered:
(a) That the Certificate of Registration of Mr. Todd Armstrong be and is hereby revoked effective immediately.
(b) That a recommendation be made to the Qualification and Registration Committee that they not consider any application by Mr. Todd Armstrong for reinstatement until after October 16, 2013.
