PARTICULARS OF THE COMPLAINT:
At all material times Shawn McCallum was a registered insurance broker conducting business in the London, Ontario area.
As a result of information received from the Principal Broker of a brokerage, it appeared that Shawn McCallum committed misconduct by signing or initialing insurance documents on his client’s behalf without obtaining written approval or instructions from the respective client.
DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE’S DISPOSITION:
The Discipline Committee approved Consent Agreement between Shawn McCallum and RIBO, and ordered:
(a) That Shawn McCallum be formally reprimanded for his actions.
