REGARDING the Insurance Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.I.8, as amended (the “Act”), in particular sections 392.5 and 407.1;
AND REGARDING Amy Po Chun Ho
ORDER TO REVOKE LICENCE
On January 9, 2019, the Superintendent of Financial Services (“Superintendent”) issued a Notice of Proposal to Revoke Licence (the “NOP”) to Amy Po Chun Ho (“Ms. Ho”) regarding insurance agent licence #07098309 issued under the Act.
The NOP was served on Ms. Ho on January 15, 2019. The Financial Services Tribunal has confirmed that Ms. Ho did not request a hearing within 15 days as required by subsection 407.1(3) of the Act.
Subsection 407.1(7) of the Act states that if the licensee does not request a hearing, the Superintendent may carry out the proposal.
ORDER
The insurance agent licence #07098309 of Amy Po Chun Ho is hereby revoked.
