REGARDING the Insurance Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. I.8, as amended (the “Act”), and the Financial Services Commission, as represented by Heather Driver, Director, Licensing Branch, Licensing and Market Conduct Division.

 

AND REGARDING Dr. J. Byron Atchison and Huron and Highbury Chiropractic Centre (#SP14823)

 

 

 

ORDER TO REVOKE LICENCE

 

 

TO:                Dr. J. Byron Atchison

                         

 

AND TO:       Huron and Highbury Chiropractic Centre

                         

 

 

On January 13, 2017, Dr. J. Byron Atchison (“Dr. Atchison”) and Huron and Highbury Chiropractic Centre (“HHCC”) signed Minutes of Settlement agreeing and consenting to the revocation of HHCC’s service provider licence #SP14823 under the Act for improper billing services, such revocation to be effective the date of the execution of the Minutes of Settlement by Dr. Atchison and HHCC.

 

On November 24, 2017, the Superintendent of Financial Services signed the Minutes of Settlement.

 

 

ORDER

 

Pursuant to subsection 288.7(7) of the Act, the service provider licence of Huron and Highbury Chiropractic Centre (licence #SP14823) is hereby revoked.
