AND REGARDING Nadeem Khan
ORDER TO SUSPEND LICENCE
Nadeem Khan holds a life insurance and accident and sickness insurance agent licence (licence #08103688) under the terms of the Insurance Act (the “Act”).
On March 17, 2016, the Superintendent of Financial Services (“Superintendent”) issued a Notice of Proposal to Revoke Licence on Mr. Khan. The grounds for the Superintendent’s proposal to revoke are that the Applicant engaged in conduct that demonstrates incompetence or untrustworthiness to transact insurance business.
On April 6, 2016, Mr. Khan filed a request for hearing with the Financial Services Tribunal.
The Superintendent and Mr. Khan have entered into Minutes of Settlement to resolve the matter without a hearing.
ORDER
The life insurance and accident and sickness insurance agent licence of Nadeem Khan (licence #08103688) is suspended for eight (8) months commencing July 1, 2017.
