The Life Insurance Council of Manitoba ordered that this Life and Accident and Sickness Insurance Agent could not continue as a Life and Accident and Sickness insurance agent while concurrently acting as an Immigration Consultant for new clients, nor could she maintain an active website or advertise as an Immigration Consultant. This matter was appealed to The Insurance Agents’ and Adjusters Licensing Appeal Board which upheld Council’s decision and imposed an additional restriction on instructing with respect to immigration.
